Beth has a short and sweet reader question for us! Maybe there’s just enough detail to spark someone’s memory. 😀
She asks:
Hey Maryse.
Love your blog. Your email messages always bring a smile to my face. I need some help with a book I read fairly recently.
What stands out in my mind is a woman who pretends to be a prostitute this guy is waiting for and they have crazy hot sex. When she leaves he asks for her name so he can request her again. She says her name is Candy and leaves the envelope full of cash on the table.
Please help!
P.S. Thank you Beth for the sweet message! That totally put a smile on MY face. 😀
Anyone have a guess?
Jessica: Is it Nobody’s Baby But Mine by Susan Elizabeth Phillips? I read it this year and kinda fits but his friends set him up with a “call girl”.
Jenny: Is it the Master by Kresley Cole? I can’t remember if she says her name is Candy.
Beth: No…that’s not it…unfortunately.
Jessa: It’s Crazy Beautiful Lies by Kathryn L. James.
Beth: Thank you soooooo much! That’s it! 🙂
Maryse: YAY!!! Another one solved!! 😀 Thank you Jessa!!!
