Niki is looking for this one! OMG FURY ALERT!!!!! I know I don’t know this one, ’cause OMG I think that scene would be burned into my brain (and heart), but maybe someone here knows?
Trying to find a book.
First of all, I love your blog! We have such similar book tastes, and it was my obsession with Kristen Ashley that first led me to you. I check your recommendations every week.
That being said, I am going crazy trying to remember a book I read where a wife discovers a file with divorce papers in it left accidentally by her husband on the kitchen table (maybe).
He gets to work (I think) and realizes what happened.
He had changed his mind, but she is devastated.
Seems like a woman at work might have been an issue, too.
Thanks for any help!
Does anyone have a guess?
Liz: I have no clue at all but I can’t wait till it’s found because of course I think I might want to read it…..
Molly: It’s “Love Me Again” by Melissa Crosby. It’s a KU book. Here the blurb –
“What would you do if you found out that your husband wanted a divorce?
Thirty-eight-year-old Jenna Stewart was the quintessential 1950s housewife of the 20th century. And just as she’d learned at theater college all those years ago, she gave the role of wife and mother everything she had. So as she sat at the breakfast nook of her family home after she’d fed her troops and waved them off to work and school, the last thing she expected was to learn that her husband wanted a divorce.
Top county surgeon Dave Stewart had everything—a loving wife, two beautiful children, a grand home, and a successful career. Despite all that, however, Dave couldn’t help but feel as if there was something in his life that just didn’t add up.
When a foolish mistake threatens his marriage and family, Dave knows he needs to make a decision or risk losing the love of his life.”
Niki: That is it! Thank you, Molly! Wow, I have another book I’m trying to find, so I’ll probably do this again.
Maryse: YAY!!! Another one solved, and on my TBR list!! I love marital strife and second chances!!
