Tanja needs our book help! Sounds like something I’ve read in our earlier indie days!! Also gives me the whole “Birthday Girl” vibe, but the “older guy” was his father. 😉
She asks:
Hi Maryse,
i’m looking desparate for a book i read years ago.
The heroine has a crush and he forgets to give her a ride home? from school? She then gets home with his older brother and hears the crush having sex with a girl.
She storms off and runs to a playground, crush and older brother follow and the girl gets picked up by her sister.
In the end she falls for the older brother.

Maryse: I also thought it was one of those… I’ve read her Rosemary Beach series with Rush, and wondered if it was a scene in one of those books.
