Kate is looking for this one! Oh I’ve watched that show “Hoarders” so I can’t tell if I’m pulling a memory from that show, or if I’ve read this one, too.

I’m trying to find a book. The heroines mother is a hoarder so she has to leave her house thru the window, no running water so she actually has buckets in her closet something like that. She gets ready at school and uses the shower there. She has a lock in her house so her mom won’t enter and something happens to her that her best friend comes to take care of her cat…
