Reader Question… Solved! The book where in an act of vengeance, she has sex with her sister’s drunk fiancé and is pregnant…

Su needs our book help! Oh yes… I know this one!!! Oh boy what a ride that was.

Though now I can’t find it online anymore. GAHHHHH!! WHAT??? This is a popular reader question (I think this is the third time it has come up… maybe even more), and I know this book had so many addicted and freaking out.

Hi Maryse,

I love your blog and have been one of your silent followers since 2011! You have helped me discover SO many amazing books and I hope you can help me find  this duet I read years ago, I believe through one of your blurbs here.

Here’s what I remember.

I believe the story is set in London/UK. The h is introduced to her older sister’s snobby fiancé at her parents house. There’s instant attraction and has a forbidden feel. He’s mean to her. The parents/mum prefer the older sister and the younger one is somewhat a failure in life and in her accomplishments.

One night the H enters the younger sister’s bedroom by mistake. I believe he’s drunk and it’s very dark in the bedroom. He ends up taking her virginity which the h allows as vengeance against her sister.

All the h’s resentment against her mean sister accumulates in an epic wedding scene which involves a lot of vomiting, food poisoning and loud (in a mic) cheating confessions for all the wedding party to hear.

The h ends up being pregnant from her one night with the H and is deemed unfit to look after the baby. The baby is taken from her, with her consent, by H and his mother and book 2 is about how she redeems herself, sorts her life out and builds a relationship with her son and eventually finds love with H.
