It’s reader question Thursday, and Kim JUST sent this one over!! She only read the blurb and wants to know which book it is so she can read it… Maybe y’all know?
She asks:
“I read a synopsis of an upcoming release several weeks (maybe months) ago and I didn’t make note of the title or author and it’s driving me crazy – I want this book!
What I vaguely remember…female inherits the CEO chair of a multi-million dollar department store/chain. She goes into hiding to escape the hounding press – to the swamps of Louisiana, in a run-down old house. A hit-man is hired to “take her out” but as he is stalking her he realizes she is not what he has be led to believe – a spoiled tyrant.
I remember the snippet provided was coming from his POV so it must be duel POVs. That’s all I can remember – and it may not ALL be on point.
Can you help me out, please?”
You bet Kim!! I know one (if not many) of our fellow readers must know this one! 😀
Anyone else want to venture a guess? Submit your guesses and there will be a $10 Amazon gift card giveaway for the first correct answer! Don’t forget… ALL are welcome to comment even if someone has already answered, ’cause:
1.) who knows if the answer is correct? You might have another guess… and it might be the right one (we’ll have the reader who asked the question pop in and let us know)
and
2.) Let us know if you’ve read it and what you thought.
Saving Dallas: Book 1 by Kim Jones <— Lisa’s guess…
- Blush by Cherrie Adair <— Katey guesses this one! (actually a few agree on this one, but Katey posted it first)…
- Captive by Brighton Walsh <— Tina thinks this could be a possibility
I don’t know, but this sounds right up my alley! Hope we find out!
I’ve read this one… let me run and grab my kindle…
Is it Saving Dallas by Kim Jones? Mississippi not Louisiana though.
I think it’s Blush by Cherie Adair….?
Bah! Sorry, the author’s CHERRY Adair. Whoops…
I think it’s Blush by Cherry Adair, but if I’m right, it’s a cosmetics company and she changes her name from Amelia to Mia… Cruz is the main male character who works as her handyman, am I right?
I have two suggestions:
Captive by Brighton Walsh
Blush by Cherry Adair
Hope this helps.
Blush is it!!! I now remember the name Wentworth – thanks so much!!
Definitely Blush, by Cherry Adair
I don’t know the answer to this one but sure would love to win this one thanks for the chance.
Definitely BLUSH.
