Reader Question… Solved! The book where she has a controlling mother, and the Hero tends to put down her life choices…

Charmaine is looking for this one! I have literally no clue, but I’m curious as I love a man in uniform and love romance books that feature the same. Though… this one doesn’t sound very nice.

She asks:

Hi!

I would like some help in remembering this book.

All i remember is the hero is a long time family friend, the heroine’s sister got kidnapped before that is why heroine’s mom is very controlling towards the heroine, the hero tends to put down heroine’s life choices.

I am not sure of the nature of the job of the heroine but the hero is most likely on the paramedic/firefighter or uniformed person

Anyone have a guess?

Shauny: That sounds familiar. Does she do extreme sports and maybe model? I could be mixing books, I read way too much.

Bev: Could it be Glimmers of You by Catherine Cowles?

Terena: I’m thinking the same as you. She films her extreme sports for her blog. Think love interest name is Caden. She’s got brothers who have their own books too. This is gonna drive me nuts. I’ll keep looking.

Terena: Fallen Embers by Catherine Cowles. I’m pretty sure that’s it.

Charmaine: Hi! Yesss!!! Thats it!!!! Thannk youuuu
