The scene that is sticking out is one where they are at a work party for him. She sees that his new assistant is being a little to friendly. They have words and he takes up for the assistant. She takes the private jet to his empty beach house and wades out into the water (almost suicide attempt), but calla an old friend (possibly old flame) before hand who alerts the boyfriend and he finds her.
I’m not sure if that helps. This is driving me crazy.

Yep. Definitely Chasing Series. I reread them last wk so it’s fresh in my mind. That scene is in the last book of the series.
