Reader Question – The book where she marries her sister’s fiancé last minute after her sister runs away…

Sunny needs our book help! Okay this has been a question in the past, I’m sure of it!! Ah, here it is (Reader Question – The book where she married her sister’s fiancé last minute at the altar…), but doesn’t sound quite the same…

She asks:

I read this book where the FMC befriends the MC (Fae?) when he comes to meet her sister and get betrothed to said sister.

FMC and MC have a connection, but the MC ends up going through with the betrothal. On the wedding day the sister of the FMC runs away so the family of the FMC changes her appearance and she marries the MC.

They head to his home and he ends up finding out that he was lied to and isn’t happy.

That’s all I remember! I do know it was first in the series!
