Reader Question… Solved! The book where she plays an Avenged Sevenfold song in her audition…

Kate has a reader question for us! Ohhhh I love rock stars AND I love Avenged Sevenfold. I can’t wait to find out what book this is!

She asks:

Hello!

I have been going through all my rock star romances, trying to find this one.

She is auditioning to be a replacement/temp in a band right before they hit the road on tour.  I know she dazzles them with her audition, playing “Hail to the King” by Avenged Sevenfold.

Any thoughts on this one?

Anyone?

Kim: Oh that’s one of Olivia Cunning’s ~ it’s Trey’s book but the name is escaping me

Maryse: Ohhhhhhhhh yeaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!! It’s coming back to me!

Tessa: Double Time (Sinners on Tour Book 5).   I don’t know if that was the song she played though. I looked it up, because Hail to the King hadn’t come out yet when I read the book, and she played The Sinners ‘Gates from Hell’ (The Sinners being the main band of the series.) So if it was Hail to the King, it wasn’t that book. Good news is that I now have Hail to the King playing in my head.

Lisa: Is it Chaos: Mayhem Series #3 by Jamie Shaw – from her Mayhem series?? That had a female guitarist auditioning for their band.

Kate: Hi all, Thanks for the assistance in trying to figure out the book! Turns out I was combining:

• A.M. Madden’ s Back-up (The Back-up Series Book 1) (Audition Scene) with
• Anne Mercier’ s Falling Down (Rockstar, Book 1) (Jam Session).

But, I am excited to read the books/authors that everyone listed.

Maryse: LOL Kate!! I do that, too! 😉 Well I’m happy it’s solved, and now we have a cool list of rock star books with auditions! 😛

Anne Mercier: Falls to the floor. Avenged Sevenfold inspired the RS series. I’m so happy you like it!!!
