Reader Question – The book where she’s her best friend’s fake fiancé for his workplace, but she’s secretly in love with him…

Jaanu is looking for this one! Oh right off the bat, I remember the “workplace thing” she mentions from a recent book blurb I posted. Allllssssoooo… the “leaving on a bus” makes me think of that devastating, heartbreak scene in “Love, In English” by Karina Halle. HOLY. MOLY. But that’s not the book. 😉

She asks:

What’s that book called? Fake dating,  best friends to lovers

So I’m looking for a book where the FMC works as a librarian or at a book store and is best friends with the MMC (she’s always been in love with him). He asks her to pretend to be his girlfriend or fiancèe? Because his workplace is all about family and they attend events together.

She does not like lying but wants to help him anyway.

She does end up telling him how she feels and leaves in a bus in think?

They do end up together.

There is some mild OW drama, FMC sees MMC at a bar with his co-worker (she was drunk and he felt bad for her) , while he missed being there for the FMC (it was for something important to her).

Please help!!
