Here is a question I JUST received and I was SO sure I knew the answer (see my answer below)… but I was wrong! And now I gotta know what this book is, too!
Traci: Since you’re on a roll this morning..I am trying to find a book too. Recently saw snippet on fb and can’t remember name..it was where a girl like two guys..says one is good boy and one is bad boy..think she dates one or both..snippet was she was at funeral of good boy and bad boy is in back and walks out..you know this one?
Maryse: Er…. I think I do know this one!! :D!! I think it’s Jasinda Wilder’s “Falling Into You” (her good boy boyfriend dies tragically) and his bad boy older brother comes to the funeral and that’s where the new love story starts… Let me know if I’m right, and if not, I’ll post your question for others to try and guess.
Traci: Not that one..I read that..also a good read.. The excerpt I read was ..”she was at funeral for good boy…everyone sobbing..she looks around..sees bad boy in the back of the room..she feels the pull to him and then he walks out”
What what whaaaaaat!!?? 😉 I wasn’t right? And there’s another super-angsty book in that genre? Woooo hooo!!! YAY ME!!!
Okay so what one is it? Anyone?
- Ruining Me by Nicole Reed
- Going Under by S. Walden
- Gail McHugh’s upcoming book (which she is still writing…)
- The Vincent Boys by Abbi Glines
- Reason To Breathe (The Breathing Series, #1) by Rebecca Donovan
- Summer He Came Home (Bad Boys of Crystal Lake) by Juliana Stone
- My Heart for Yours by Steph Campbell & Jolene Perry
Sounds like it could be ruining me by Nicole reed.
Is it “Going Under” (S. Walden)?
When I first read the question, I thought about what Gail McHugh posted on FB. It was a prologue from a WIP(Work in Progress) and to be released in early 2014.
You can find the prologue on the author’s FB page, but it really sounds like the description in the question.
Oh great, Loana, let me look that up and see if I can link it. 😀
Going Under she meets a boy at a funeral, but the funeral is her best friend’s. Ruining Me she is involved with a couple of boys, could be that one, but that isn’t how the relationship starts with the bad boy.
Maybe the Vincent boys by Abbi Glines? Her grandma dies in it and they both are at the funeral with her. Not quite how she summed it up but sounds pretty similar.
I agree with loana. Sounds the same
IDK, but you can chalk up another book from you that is now on my TBR list w/ Falling Into You. 😀
I’m with Maryse on this one. I thought for sure it was Falling Into You.
Reason to breathe?
Crap…I just read that snippet somewhere too! Ughhh it’s a book that hasn’t been released yet. Shoot what was it. I’m racking my brain.
I can’t wait for Gail Mcchugh’s new book. My TBR just keeps getting longer! Thanks maryse 😉
Ahhh..found it! Here is the link. It’s WIP from Gail McHugh.
It could be The Summer He Came Home by Juliana Stone.
It’s not the one you’re talking about, but it is a book about twins… one bad boy, one perfect son – it’s called RULE (Marked Men#1) and it’s only 1.99 on Kindle. It was super hot. Rule Archer is a tattoo artist who lives in the shadow of his dead twin brother. Shaw Landon is in medical school and the uppity girl that he can never touch, because she belonged to his brother (since she was 15). Aaaaaaand then it begins… it really was totally worth the 1.99. Tattooed bad boy (check), sassy smart girl torn between what’s right and what’s in her heart (check), and a whole cast of additional characters you come to love (Rule’s older brother)…(check)… and steamy to boot. What’s not to love?
I think it’s “My Heart For Yours” Steph Campbell and Jolene Perry.
I think the book she’s speaking about is Janes Melodg, I also saw this snippet on facebook.
Oh I didn’t even think of that one… (very good read!!) but I think the reason I didn’t consider it for this question is ’cause she’s at a funeral for her daughter..
I think the book she’s speaking about is Janes Melody, I also saw this snippet on facebook .
Did you guys read the excerpt from Ing Cruz post.. the WIP by Gail McHugh.. sounds like that’s it and it sounds SO good too… Here’s the link again.
It’s definitely Gail’s book! I recognized it instantly!
