Oh! This one sounds like fun! Tattoos and seemingly obvious situation that ends up being a total misunderstanding. I love when that happens. In books, I mean! In books. In real life, I’d be pretty ticked. Or embarrassed, depending on “who” they were… π
“L” asks:
“… I was wondering if you could help me with a book. I read an excerpt a while ago and can’t remember the title or author. Don’t remember if the book’s been released already or will be released soon. I think the excerpt has to do with the heroine who’s looking for the hero (can’t remember why) and finds him getting a tattoo by a woman on her knees, but the heroine didn’t notice the tattoo part, so she got the wrong impression. Thanks for any help you can provide.”
Anyone?
Here’s a reader’s guess!
- If Only (Captured, book 1)Β by Louise J
Could it be If Only? The heroine is Callie. I loved this one!
Gah! This made me think of a book where the man is getting measured for tailored pants and the woman walks in and gets the wrong idea. Now I can’t remember what book that was…?
Oh Erica, I think you are thinking of Full Court Press.
Reader Question : I was at a website yesterday reading book teasers. There are two teasers ( from two dffferent books) that sounded really interesting but my computer locked up before I could get the name of the books and the authors. One of the teasers was about a girl who came back to a guy ( a guy she left to marry someone else). When she arrived at his house and was standing in his driveway, he pulled in. When he got out of his car, two females also got out of his car. He ended up finding a ride home for the females (the two that arrived with him). He asked the girl (the one that was standing in his driveway) what she was doing there (because he thought she married someone else). She explained to him that she couldn’t go through with the wedding because she loved him. The teaser ended with him telling her that he needed time to think.
The second teaser involved vampires, a Halloween party, and a love triangle. I know it’s not all but that’s all I can remember.
Please let me know if you know the names of either of these books. I think they are going to be released soon and both are part of a series.
Hi Nickie, I think your first teaser sounds like the sequel to Collide by Gail McHugh. Sorry can’t remember what it’s going to be called off the top of my head. No idea about the second teaser. Cheers
That’s the sequel to Collide called ‘Pulse’.
