Vee needs our book help! This one doesn’t ring a bell for me, but maybe someone here knows it?

I’ve been looking for this book for ages and can’t seem to find it.
What I remember:
The heroine is very wealthy and has an awesome car. They meet on the street, they talk and she invites him to a gala. Later she finds out that his family is involved in a crime (I think murder) and her brother is a detective working with the hero trying to solve the case.
The hero and heroine have a lot of sex (on a pool table, on her car).

They solve the case when the heroine wants to sow something for a dog with a pattern the hero’s mom made. The pattern isn’t correct and has some clues in it.
That’s all I can remember.

Maryse: Though the sex on the pool table brings back some vague book memories. 😉 For some reason, “Bared To You” by Sylvia Day flashed through my head… I know they “did it” A LOT!!!! LOL! 😋
