Kristian is looking for this book! Sounds like a fantasy romance of sorts, and that is where I’m not so knowledgable. Maybe a medieval romance?
She asks:
Hello!
Years ago, back around 2010 (something like that) when I was a teenager I found a book in the young adult section that I loved and have been wanting to read again but can’t remember the name of it. Please help me!
I’ll give details I can remember:
It was about a princess, she meets a boy who I believe is a knight/soldier who she ends up secretly falling in love with. She is being forced to marry by her parents so all while this is going on with the boy she is meeting potential suitors for garden strolls and things like that.

After she falls for the boy she discovers he is actually a spy for an enemy kingdom and can’t be trusted.

There’s a lot more but in the end of the book she ends up saying her goodbyes to the boy, he goes back to his kingdom and she is forced to marry this huge jerk in the end of the book. I think she does it to ensure the boys safety but my memory of the finer details is fuzzy.
Please help me find this book! It’s been driving me crazy for a few years now. I do distinctly remember the author was very young when she wrote it (like 16 I believe) and it was her first book.
Also the cover I’m pretty sure was red and the paper was cut too appear like an old weathered store and the actual print on the pages of the book were navy blue.
It was very unique and an amazing story.
Anyone have a guess?
anon: I found it lol. I was in the same exact boat as you and have been thinking about it for years. Is it Legacy by Cayla Kluver?
