Adrianne has a short and sweet one for us to figure out. π Second chance romance and a surprise baby??
She asks:
Hello
Iβm looking for a book I believe it was a part of a large family series.
The book starts about 18 months after h left H and he tries to get her back and they have a year old daughter who is deaf he is just now meeting.
Anyone have a guess?
Susan: A Husbands Regret by Natasha Anders
Fiona: I know this one Susan but its the man who becomes deaf following an accident after the H left him she has a baby etc that he does not know about and meet up and H is living in poverty with the toddler nowβ¦.so not sure if this is right oneβ¦..am going back to read it anyhow she is a great author
Adrianne: No A Husbandβs Regret is not it. I read that a few weeks ago and it reminded me of the one I am looking for.
Shannon: is it Missing From Me by Jayne Frost? Just finished it – rock star, longtime girlfriend- broke up she has his daughter who is deaf
Amanda:Β Rules for Dating Your Ex by Piper Rayne (The Baileys #9)

If your ex arrives in your hometown eighteen months after you walked out on him while you were eight months pregnant, follow this short list of rules before you give him a second chance.
Rule #1 β Donβt stand in the way of your brothers who want to rough him up.
Rule #2 β Donβt meet him for coffee and agree to allow him to meet your daughter.
Rule #3 β Donβt drool when your daughter falls asleep on his chest for the first time. Itβs just your ovaries talking.
Rule #4 β Donβt let him hold your hand. While weβre at it, no hugs, no kisses on the cheekβ¦ just no physical contact in general. That only leads to remembering better times.
The last one is the most importantβ¦
Rule #5 β When you find yourself needing someoneβs help and youβre tired of always asking your family, donβt let him be the one whoβs there for you.
Because all those good qualities of his will suck you right back in and youβll have no chance of fighting your feelings, especially now that heβs ready to be a father to your daughter.
