Reader Question… Solved! The book where they meet at a work event, their spouses die in a plane crash, and were having an affair!

Poonam needs our book help! Oh this one sounds right up my alley, and maybe I’ve even read it. I can’t quite place it either.

I have been following your blog for years. I love it.

I am looking for a book i read maybe last year. I remember the plot but not the author or the name.

The hero meets heroine at a work event of his stepsister (also his girlfriend) and does not like her. She’s married to a fellow colleague of the stepsister.

Her husband and his stepsister die on a plane crash to Paris. They were having an affair together.

Hero and heroine come together to investigate the secret affair.

Please can you help me find this book title?

Poonam: Hello Cady, Thank you for your suggestion but it is not this novel. The heroine was not in the plane crash. The plane was heading to Paris

Jackie: I’m thinking it might be Random Hearts by Warren Adler. There’s a movie with Harrison Ford and Kristin Scott Thomas that was very similar to this description.
