Nancy is looking for this one! I’ve read a few books with characters who are deaf (LOVED them all) but the three that come to mind don’t have the “bad guys” in the storyline she describes below.
I need help with a book that I read a few year ago. I don’t remember the title or the author of the book.
All I remember is that the two main characters met in college. The girl lead is very innocent. The boy lead is deaf.
The boy lead lives with his older brother who have bad associates. The girl brings the boy home for the holidays.
I know this is not alot of information about the book but that all I remember.
Can you please help me find out what is the book title and who is the author of this book because I really want to reread this book again.
Thank you in advance!
Anyone recognize this one?
Nancy: I just went into your post and read your comment. You say that you read a few books that is similar to what I describe. Can you please give me the title of those books?
Maryse: Sure!!! All three of these are some of my absolute favorites:
- Book Review – Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover
- Book Review – Please Don’t Stop the Music by Jane Lovering
- Book Review – Archer’s Voice by Mia Sheridan <— Can’t remember if he was deaf – it’s been so long since I’ve read it – I think so, but he doesn’t speak.
Heidi: Dangerous to know and love by Jane Harvey Berrick? Awesome book if it is this one.
Chris: Yep, definitely sounds like Dangerous To Know and Love. Read it years ago and loved it.
Nancy: Heidi- thank you so much! You hit the jackpot! I believe that the book I’m looking for.
Maryse: YAY Nancy and Heidi (and Chris!!)!!!! 🙂 Another awesome sounding book for us to read. 😀
Julie O: Great book!
Heidi: Awesome, I actually bought this one after seeing a recommendation on here for ‘younger guy older woman’ from the same author. The most memorable part of this book is a very sweet sex scene…
