Can you help me guess the name of a book I read a few years ago ?
It’s about a homeless H and h, who works in the medical profession. They met when they were runaway teenagers living on the streets. They later become lovers, and when they decide to live properly, the h stands up the H because he feels she is better of without him.
They meet later as adults and she takes home off the streets
Anyone have a guess?

Nancy: I really wanted to tell you was that in your trying to find lost books for people, I saw that one answer was: ONE DAY SOON by A. Meredith Walters. It was released in 2016! I thought this is one of her books, I don’t ever remember reading it. So, I looked it up and I’ve owned it since 2016, but did not read it! I think I forgot why? So I started reading it and it is darker than I remember any of her books, but shocking and kept me up reading late into the night! I highlighted 42 notes! Now I don’t know if I want to review it or not. It goes from Present to Past, and you really are surprised by the ending, but don’t know till the very ending. I looked at how some of my friends rated it and it goes from awful to amazing. It was amazing but a dark kind of amazing!
