Reader Question – The book with the up-and-coming rock star that leaves her to go on tour…

Happy Reader Question Thursday! I have a few already in the queue!!! Maybe you guys can help me with this one? So far we have quite a few guesses from our Facebook crew (each one, a different book!! 😀 ), but no confirmation yet. Anyone else wanna venture a guess?

“Maryse, a few years ago I read, what I believed to be the first novel in a series, about a young girl in the US and her friendship with a guy (I think was British but not a definite).

She was younger than him but they were friends and he was in a band that was beginning to become popular.

The book ended with I think them declaring their love BUT he had to leave to go on tour. Help?

I can’t remember the name and this could have been as far back as 2011/12.

Kim: This sounds like Carla Krae’s My Once and Future Love series. It came out in 2012 under a different name. The girl loves in US and grew up with British boy but he moved back to England. He was in a band when she went to visit him. The friendship evolves over the series.
