Reader Question… Solved! The historical book about the widow wife that gets a job as a traveling librarian…

Maggie needs our book help!! Oh boy!!! I sort of know this one, because I READ a book just like this story a few months ago and loved it! And it was a historical romance. It was wonderful!!

However right around that time I believe there were TWO other books that have recently released and had a similar storyline. So I will add all of them to the guesses and hopefully one of them will be right. 😉

She asks:

Book about a widow wife – riding on horse back 1800’s to borrow books  in remote areas the USA (America’s outback) LOL.

I’m from Australia. We have our own outback.

I loved the book and due to Covid19 my husband has asked me about books I’ve read. Both of us are avid readers but our choice of books differ. However I think he would enjoy the history and story behind this one.

I have been a follower on your website since 2013. Love it.

Maryse: Okay so… the book I READ and loved was Carry the World by Susan Fanetti and here’s my review. And she WAS a widow wife.

Chris: I know this one! Read it a few years ago. Carry the World by Susan Fanetti. Had no idea about this history. Loved it, highly recommend.
