Maggie needs our book help!! Oh boy!!! I sort of know this one, because I READ a book just like this story a few months ago and loved it! And it was a historical romance. It was wonderful!!
However right around that time I believe there were TWO other books that have recently released and had a similar storyline. So I will add all of them to the guesses and hopefully one of them will be right. π
She asks:
Book about a widow wife – riding on horse back 1800βs to borrow booksΒ in remote areas the USA (Americaβs outback) LOL.
Iβm from Australia. We have our own outback.
I loved the book and due to Covid19 my husband has asked me about books Iβve read. Both of us are avid readers but our choice of books differ. However I think he would enjoy the history and story behind this one.
I have been a follower on your website since 2013. Love it.
Cheers Maggie
LOL Maggie!! I love that we sort of have an “Outback” too. π
Guesses?
Maryse: Okay so… the book I READ and loved was Carry the WorldΒ by Susan Fanetti and here’s my review. And she WAS a widow wife.
Chris: I know this one! Read it a few years ago. Carry the World by Susan Fanetti. Had no idea about this history. Loved it, highly recommend.
Maryse: Me too!! Learned something new and it felt wonderful to read!
And my other guesses are (which totally could be the ones Maggie read) but I did not read:
The Giver of Stars: A Novel by Jojo Moyes
The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek: A Novel by Kim Michele Richardson
Maggie: Thanks Maryse. The book is The Giver of Stars by Jojo Moyesπ€
Tammy: I loved all 3 of these books!!!Β
Maryse: YAY!!!! So nowβ¦ if you loved that one, maybe the other two will be fun, also! π
