Sue needs our book help! Historical romance lovers… this is for you!
She asks:
Hello Maryse,
I need help! Y’all have helped me before and I’m hoping you can do it again.
I read a book about 6-8 years ago, but for the life of me can’t think of it, including TBR, Goodreads, etc.)
The premise includes a mail order spouse, set in the late 1800’s (ish). As far as I remember the heroine wanted a slower change of life with less electronics. I don’t remember much about the hero, but I believe he was a farmer. Maybe?
I only remember this one book, but it’s possible there might have been a series.
Any ideas??
Thanks guys!!
UPDATE FROM MARYSE!! Here’s a different email from Sue explaining this same book, but in a slightly different way (maybe this will help even more?):
About 6-8 years ago, there was a book concerning mail order brides with a twist.
From what I remember the women were in modern times, but if matched and willing to go, they somehow ended up in late 1800’s, (maybe early 1900’s??).
In this book she ended up matched with a farmer. She was looking for a more slower paced lifestyle.
Anyone have a guess?
