I’m looking for a book. I thought I found it (Brutal Prince by Sophie Lark) but I just re-read that and nope, not it.
Unfortunately, there are several maybes in my remembrance.
Okay.
It’s almost certainly mafia romance. It’s a series – each book is a different couple.
The one I’m thinking of involves a marriage (forced? Arranged? Kidnapping? Who knows?) followed by the couple moving to his place (on an island I think? Or at least somewhere more remote than the MC is used to). He is in politics somehow.
He has a best friend who is at the house a lot and an estranged sister who semi-stalks him (leading to a face to face between the new-wife and the sister outside of his restaurant) and in a later book the sister is the MC.
Also she’s cool as heck and wears lots of black. The sister, that is.
Okay that’s it for my memory! Can you please help?
