Alyson needs our book help! Oh marital strife books are totally my jam, and I feel like I’ve read this one for sure, but I’ve read so many… who knows which one?
There is a particular detail in there that should spark someone’s memory, but I don’t remember that part at all.
She asks:

It’s me again.
I have been looking through your list of martial strife books because I’ve been trying to find a book that I read a while back and I just can’t remember the name!
So it’s about this married couple that had a miscarriage and now they’re marriage is in shambles. The wife feels neglected and starts this affair with a friend she knew from before. She is also a school teacher. The wife tells her husband about this affair and he asks her to give them a second chance.
If I remember correctly the husband suggest that she spends certain days with him and other days with her lover and to give him a month for her to make her final decision.
I also remember that the wife had a pet bird and it died and she was very heartbroken about it and the husband tries to make her happy by buying a new bird I believe!
Please help me find this book!
