Sonia is looking for this one! A “he doesn’t want her” book!! We love those (potential grovel??) It’s kind of lacking in detail (sounds like quite a few unrequited love books), but maybe we can make a list in the process and the right one will show up?
She asks:
I’m looking for a books I saw people talking about on a group a while back but forgot which book it was.
I remember it’s a marriage of convenience, the woman love the man but he doesn’t and he doesn’t care about her and after I think years he gets what he wants maybe a company from his grandfather, she was in need for money..
but now she has her own business and they don’t need each other anymore so one day she goes to him and give him his money back and ask for divorce because he doesn’t care about her, but he discovers that he loves her and doesn’t want a divorce,
any idea which book is this?
Anyone have a guess?
Carla: Oh this sounds good. Really painful. No one knows?
Kim: I’ve read this book! But I can’t remember the title and want to read it again too. Anyone knows the title of this book?
Ali: Sounds very much like Don’t Pretend I’m Yours by Natasha Anders
SHE WAS IN LOVE WITH HIM BUT REALIZED HE MARRIED HER FOR ALL THE WRONG REASONS, BUT...
"...her much-loved grandfather is ecstatic about the union and to avoid disappointing him, Lilah informs Ben that she’ll play at being his wife for one year only. Ben, however, seems perfectly content to remain tethered to her in a loveless union for all eternity. He has his own reasons for marrying Lilah. Reasons he’s hiding behind a wall of secrets, half-truths, and blatant lies.
And when that wall comes tumbling down, Lilah is emotionally unprepared to deal with the further devastation and heartbreak that follow..."

I’m adding it!! Thank you! 😀
This sounds like one of my favourites by Catherina Maura – Forever After All.
Elena and Alexander were childhood friends, she was always in love with him as he was her best friends brother. Years later she’s in financial difficulty due to her father and his new wife… Circumstances happen and she gets married to Alexander for convenience so he doesn’t lose the company as his Grandfather has a policy that all CEO’s must be married….. he wants a loveless marriage due to ‘issues’ but he falls hard and GROVELLLLLLLLL…. which i love 🙂
It’s a great book, i cried 🤷🏻♀️
