I came across your page while searching google for a book.
I read this book almost 10 years ago and it was the start of a series. However I can’t remember the author or the title.
It was an urban fantasy/paranormal book about a male creature who needs a human shield/companion in order to fight back some type of evil.
I remember the enemy couldn’t sense him if she was near. I think he also needed her to drive and such.
Truth is, it will be a miracle if you can help.
