It’s about a married couple but the hero hates his wife because he thought her brother killed his sister with the help of the wife.
He only marries her to trap her and abuses her. Even his entire family, especially his mother is involved in this.

The heroine was in prison for some reason I can’t remember. Her daughter was taken away by child services. Now that she is free from prison, she needs a job. The hero’s mother hires her as a nanny for the kids despite knowing about the prison issue, but hero doesn’t know. They fall in love etc etc but hero finds out about the prison record and throws her out of the house. HEA After grovel.
I have a book that the hero hates the heroine because he thinks she killed his sister in the car crash
So he marries her for revenge and abuses her
The heroine is also depressed because the man she loves hates (which is the hero) her and her best friend is dead (which is the hero’s sister)
In the book the hero and the heroine get into a fight and he tells her he wished if she was dead
Then the heroine attempts to kill her self but the hero saves
