Many of you are VERY familiar with this author, and this series is no doubt a HUGE favorite. It sounds AMAZING and heart wrenching! And for those of you who haven’t read it, just look at these recommendations. We need to read it, don’t we? Plus! It’s now complete. 😀
Karen: I have just one book recommendation…Take This Regret by Amy Lichtenhan. The “angst-o-meter” for this one registered in the heart attack zone but not for the usual reasons.
Debra: I highly recommend Take This Regret … a beautiful story of loss and redemption and there is some angst too.
Teremazon: The totally heartbreaking latest book that I recently read and made my heart shrink in pain was Take this regret, by AL Jackson. I read the 0.5 novella Lost to you first, and they both made it to my 25 best of the year…
Monica: I can tell you that take this regret is one of the best books I’ve ever read. I also loved lost to you, the presequel. They are all beautifully written. I’ll be reading this one next.
Michelle: Just finished “If Forever Comes” by A.L. Jackson (it went live yesterday, I believe) and it was SO good.
About book #1:
A promise to love her forever.
A betrayal she could never forgive.
A change of heart that leaves her questioning everything she thought she believed. Can she forgive someone who has committed the unforgiveable?
Or are there some wounds that go so deep they can never heal?
- Lost to You (#0.5) – (Lost to You is the prequel novella to Take This Regret and unnecessary to read before Take This Regret – it was actually published AFTER book #1)
- Take This Regret (#1)
- If Forever Comes (The Regret Series) (#2) <— author says this is the final book in the series.
Loved this series. For some reason, I overlooked it when it first came out and just read all 3 back to back… So emotional but worth it! It was an intense read but really heartfelt.. I would highly recommend!!!
Thanks Stephanie!!! It’s fun to read an entire series in one shot. 🙂
I love A.L. Jackson writing. Christian and Elizabeth’s story is heartbreaking.
Lost to you should be read after take this regret.
I love it!!! Highly recommended
