I love the sound of this book (features a married couple, completely in love, trying to overcome an ultimate betrayal) and well… after checking out the blurbs of the following books in the series, I pretty much just love the sound of this series as a whole!! 😀 And the first two books are super-bargain priced right now!
fabi: I’m going to download 8 Weeks because I can’t read 21 days until I read the first in the series. I’m dying to see Bethany’s writing after getting a peek at her reading list. *skipping off to Amazon*
fabi: I’m back. I’m quick like that. Question: 8 Weeks doesn’t sound anything like 21 Days but its listed as the first in the series. The two stories sound really different and 21 Days is more “my reading lane” than 8 Weeks. So…are these stand alone or do they have to be read in order?
Bethany: Yes, the Time for Love series are a series, but all can be read as a standalone, since they’re about different couples.
Tessa: Fabi, I’m the opposite. 8 weeks is more my type.
Maryse: 8 Weeks is already giving me chest pains just from the blurb alone!
About book #1:
Is eight weeks enough time to earn back the love of someone you’ve betrayed…the only one you’ve ever loved?
Shelly has been in love with Cal since they started dating in eleventh grade. Despite everyone saying that the odds were against them, they got married after graduation and built a life together. Now, six years later, she is faced with the ultimate betrayal. Devastated, her first instinct is to call it quits…
After a drunken binge at his best friends’ bachelor party, Cal betrays the one person who has always been there for him, his wife, Shelly. Terrified and realizing she might divorce him, Cal must come up with a way to prove to her that his love is true…
Cal asks Shelly for eight weeks. Eight weeks to convince her that their marriage is worth the fight. Will Shelly be able to trust him again, or will their marriage end the way many others do when faced with opposition… In divorce?
What a wonderful surprise to open my computer and see the link to this post on Twitter. You’re so sweet, thanks for the Time for Love, love! 🙂 Bethany
My pleasure Bethany!! It sounds pretty great! 😀
