<— EEEEEP!!! MARITAL STRIFE & A VERY RISKY “AGREEMENT” ALERT!! And guess what? The duet IS complete. So bring on the angst!!!!
Ashley:Β I just finished 10 Reasons to Stay by Candace Knoebel and it was so good!!! It says that itβs a duet but itβs a standalone. (Which I was relieved about!) I think the second book must be about another couple. It had a Roya Carmen feel and I love her books so it was perfect.
P.S. I just read a bit about book #2 and I recommend reading these in order (absolutely). Book #2 is a sort of continuation on what happened in #1 and you don’t want that spoiled. π
About book #1:
One day a weekβThursdaysβmy husband and I could do whatever or whomever we pleased.
Protection was non-negotiable.
And no matter what, we had to be home by midnight.
Jack was the one who wanted an open marriage, but we were supposed to keep things simple. No strings. No commitments. It seemed so easyβ¦ until it wasnβt.
Devilishly handsome Cole Blackwater was only supposed to be a fling, but everything about him made me feel alive. Wanted.Β Seen.Β When I realized he was my husbandβs boss, I should have broken things off right thenβ¦ but I didnβt.
One day a week, I could pretend that I was his and he was mine⦠until Cole wanted more.
But how could I decide between the man Iβd promised to love, honor, and cherish, and the man who tempted me to break every single vow Iβd made?
READING ORDER:
I absolutely loved The Ground Rules…talk about pretzel tummy…maybe I need to check this out.
Right, Leslie? Done right, these stories can take us on quite a rollercoaster. Totally my thing!
