Darynda Jones – Charley Davidson Series Reading Order

What a fun looking series! The recommendations started when my friend put book #1 on her TBR list, saying “If it is ANYTHING like the old Showtime show called Dead Like Me (about Grim Reapers) I know I will love this.”

Then more comments came in:

Nay: Yes, I HIGHLY recommend the Charley Davidson series. Reyes Farrow is one of the hottest (literally and figuratively), super sexy heroes out there! I’ve said it before–it’s one of my fave paranormal series!

Valerie: “… reading “First Grave on the Right” by Darynda Jones.  I really recommend her books.  I don’t want to give anything away about her series, but I can say it’s about a private investigator named Charley Davidson who also just happens to be THE Grim Reaper.  Her dad is a retired police officer who now owns a bar in which her office is located on the 2nd story of the building.  Her uncle is still on the police department and uses her in some cases since she can see dead people.  She is also very hotly involved with an entity that is other than human (like I said, don’t want to give away too much).

Marisa: “Hey Maryse. Have you read a Darynda Jones book yet? If not, I can assure you, you will love her.”

Suzan: Amazingly fun and intriguing, I thought ahh another supernatural series, I’ll give it a try I do love my j.r. Ward but omg I wasn’t prepared for the complete and total awesomeness this series is. Its SOOO funny, has such a great story, characters, plot, intrigue and sexiness that is Reyes yumm,! The most bad boy in alpha maleness .seriously the son of satan! He’s met his match! I laughed, even had tears…. the characters and heart are sooo close…. and the story line is just…. unstoppable! Love it! Can’t wait for more from Darynda Jones!

Maria: Love them! She makes me laugh out loud  These books are suspenseful, sexy, mysterious and hilarious! If you haven’t read them yet, I highly recommend them. I’m a JR Ward fan and she recommended them, so what the Warden says goes! LOL!

Okay guys!! This looks like my cup of tea!! I’m on it 🙂
