Book #3 was JUST RELEASED today and I hear this author can take your breath away with her killer cliffhangers, but but but… sometimes a well done cliffhanger can be REALLY exciting. 😉 And in this case, the THIRD book just went live today!! I think I’m gonna have a bit of a Deborah Bladon day today, ’cause her books really sky-rocket right up to the top of the Amazon charts with each release. People seem to highly anticipate her releases!
DG: for a angst, cliffhanger 3 book series I would recommend Deborah Bladon books. I REFUSE to read any of her books until all in the series is live. Bladon knows how to write a gasping cliffhanger!
Janet: Maryse, I would love to see you do a reading order for Bladon’s books -as her stories are great at interweaving couples and families, and I’ve definitely got a couple out of sync.
About book #1:
Landing a job at Manhattan’s trendiest restaurant is everything Cadence Sutton wants. After leaving her ex-boyfriend behind, she’s ready to focus on her career and Nova is the place to do that.
Tyler Monroe is the chef of the moment. Everyone wants a piece of him and when he returns to New York City following his successful book tour, he’s eager to take over the day-to-day operations of his restaurant.
Cadence knows the complications that come with mixing business with pleasure, but Chef Monroe is as irresistible as the food he creates.
There’s no denying the attraction between them. As he helps her nurture her natural talent, her past reappears with a vengeance.
Tempers flare, buttons are pushed and when push comes to shove, everything may be lost in the heat of the moment.
- BURN (The HEAT Series Book 1)
- SPARK (The HEAT Series Book 2)
- BLAZE (The HEAT Series Book 3)
- Book #4 (finale) – release date and title TBA
I have read most of her books, which interweave family and friends in Manhattan. Some are better than others (they can feel a little formulaic) but they’re all good, pacey, sexy reads. Can’t wait for the fourth and final book of the Heat series to come out tomorrow (June 6). ‘Vain’ is a favorite and Noah should absolutely be on your ‘recluse’ list. It would be great to have a reading list, Maryse…
