After the Twilight series I found Christine Feehan’s Dark series. Almost finished. The overall idea is the same in each book, but I’m hooked and have to finish the series. I reserve books at the local library so I always have two at home and reserve the next (on-line)as I’m nearing the end of each. So I’m never without the next book! Thanks for the suggestions, I can’t wait to start on a new author/series!
I completely understand…I am compelled to read each one in the Dark series even thought it feels like it repeats itself. It’s the overall “feeling” of passion that keeps me coming back, cause WHOA…it’s intense!
Okay, I found this Upyr books list. I would love to read other peoples opinions on this series.
I read a short story by Emma Holly in Hot Blooded. The sex was hot so I decided to get the rest of the books, all ten as pictured above. I almost always buy books used and get them for half price or less unless they are current releases. I really love this series. Its interesting how the author started the series in medieval times and moved forward through the centuries with the characters. I am currently reading Devil at Midnight. I will be reading the Tales of the Demon.World after I read the Fifty Shades of Grey Trilogy first. Just purchased them this morning on my Nook.
Love Emma Holly books – thank you for the list. The first book in the series should be Luisa’s Desire – it is in the Fantasy Anthology or it is in Midnight Desire (which has Catching Midnight also). I started by reading Courting Midnight & Kissing Midnight a couple years ago and decided I wanted to start from the beginning now. On Hunting Midnight now – love them.
