A few recommendations have come my way for this one!!
Kelsey: Have you read these yet? I love them, they had a great feel, angst, shock, brilliant humour, tummy wrenching. Loved the style, and there’s a third book soon. All the characters were brought to life π
Nicole:Β One I recently read that was hilarious, very Alice Clayton-ish was Fate Interrupted by Kaitlyn Cross. I don’t think you’ve read that one (I checked for a review), but I think you would love it.
Marina:Β I have to sing song about great new book Fate Interrupted by Kaitlyn Cross. Brilliant new author..you’ll love it!
About book #1:
Dean Jacobs is one of Milwaukeeβs hottest eligible bachelors and in no mood to settle down, until she comes along. Evy, however, is focused on opening a new dessert lounge with her sister but Dean wonβt take no for an answer. She finally gives in to the want in her gut and – much to her surprise β discovers he isnβt the player she thought he was. Just when things turn into a fairytale sent from above, Deanβs past comes back to haunt him. The only question is: will it make them stronger, or rip them apart?

- Fate Interrupted 2 (Book 2 of 2)
- Brooke & Ben: Before Fate InterruptedΒ – expected release date late June/early July 2013
Hmmmmm…..sounds like it has promise….have to check it out. Constantly on the lookout for the next ” big thing” and mst of the time a little let down. I mean I’ve read some great and entertaining books….don’t get me wrong. It’s just…..it’s like I’m craving something but I don’t know what I just know its supposed to be great. Its like craving chocolate but you don’t have any so you eat evrything around you……and yeah its great but not what you had in mind. * shrug* Oh well I’ll just keep devouring all the books around me untill I find “It”:-) At least its my wallet suffering and not waistline. ThanksMaryse for all the great recommendations…..its usually where I find my next big thing.
I read both these books and thought they were great!!
How funny, I just finished the second book yesterday! I have to disagree with the raves though, I thought the books were mediocre. I didn’t connect to the characters at all and the author failed to make me feel anything so I won’t bother reading the third.
Ahhhh it’s good to get many perspectives. Thanks Michele!
I’m on board with Michelle. I had a whole lot of eye rolling happening while I read book 1. I didn’t feel enough of a connection to the characters to suspend belief that all that ridiculousness could happen. But I am glad that it was enjoyed by some.
I liked these books and would probably read the third one too. π
I had these on my radar but friends of mine said they were NOT good at all… and to not waste my time. So sadly, I’ll have to pass on these :(.
