<—I knew this one was popular, but I didn’t realize how crazy of a read it was until reader reactions starting coming in with book #2’s release. Was I not paying attention? ‘Cause this one sure sounds up my “What an unredeemable jerk, but I love to hate him” alley. 😉
Janet: Gotta recommend Worthy of Redemption L.D. Davis. I really liked Accidentally on Purpose, but this one takes it to another level.
Jillian: Really? There was no redeeming quality about that man and the things he did were horrible. I don’t care what his ‘excuse’ was. I just don’t think I can even get myself to read it. I loved Accidentally on Purpose though.
Stephanie: I felt the same way! I just finished reading it. I loved the sequel! And, yes, Jillian, you may just change your mind…
Jillian: Hmmm… well, okay then. If you two say so.
About book #1:
Emmy thinks her boss Kyle Sterling of Sterling Corporations is a dick.
So, she sleeps with him.Emmy tries to put the mistake behind her, but then finds herself snowed in with Kyle. As the snow builds, so does the heat in the house between the two. The problem is that Kyle has a steady girlfriend that he is unwilling to break up with. Emmy cuts Kyle off and starts dating Luke. Even as their relationship takes off, Emmy is finding Kyle hard to shake. He is blatant in his feelings and desires for Emmy, putting her in an awkward situation. She tries hard to resist Kyle, but deep down inside Emmy’s motives are shady. When Emmy succumbs to her hidden feelings for Kyle without setting Luke free, devastating consequences ensue.
In addition to her two men, Emmy daydreams about doing violent things to her loud mouthed, opinionated mother.
With drama, romance, some humor, and plenty of alcohol, follow Emmy as she deals with the consequences of “accidentally on purpose” falling for two men at once.

Wow the first to respond! I read this one awhile back. It was on your Friday bargain list. I loved it! I never saw what was happening in the initial relationship and the details were jaw-dropping (and I know how to read between the lines). I have recommended this one to others who have also enjoyed it, however we just can’t bring ourselves to read book 2. I personally don’t know if I can connect with Kyle after reading AOP. I would like to know if anyone else felt the same way and went onto enjoy book 2.
At the very least I definitely say read AOP-it won’t disappoint.
I loved this one as well as AOP Kyle definitely redeemed himself in my eyes I cant wait to see what L.d comes up with next.
Loved this Series, Jamie, sometimes companion novels fall short but I think this one is even better than the first.
Both books were 5 star reads for me !! Love them !
These books are great and you would really love them Maryse!! The have peeps with a lot of issues and the 2nd book deals with some darkness. Really. Really. Good.
Oh my gawd! Accidentally on purpose kept me up reading until 5am. It was sooooooo good. Had me all twisted up inside. It’s a must read!
@jamie I feel the same. I keep putting off reading Kykes book. I will eventually but I’m staying away for now.
LOVED this series! The author did an amazing job! Mr. Alpha-possessive-painfully-HOT Kyle Sterling definitely redeemed himself. I found myself cringing, giggling like a school girl, squirming and blushing all through-out this series. I miss both Lily and Kyle already :(!
