FANTASY ROMANCE ALERT!! There is big love, and I mean BIG LOVE for this series in our crew!!! And this series is now complete!!
Cheryl: I’m reading rhapsodic by Laura thalassa and I am obsessed 🖤 I loved her four horseman series and have had this on my tbr for ages and just started it yesterday and I cannot put it down!
Robyn: I just finished Rhapsodic by Laura Thalassa and loved it! Now I’m on to book 2 A Strange Hymn. All of LT’s books are so good.
MichelleS: FLT: “Wings. I have wings.” – A Strange Hymn (The Bargainer Book Two). By Laura Thalassa. WINGS PEOPLE!! I have wings! And Fae. Hot hulking King-type Fae. Swoon…
Tessa: Laura Thalassa’s Bargainer series’ prequel went live – The Emperor of Evening Stars. I finished it yesterday (that’s pretty much why I was mostly quiet). Super good and 5 stars. It’s The Bargainer’s story from pre-birth up to the end of the second book, so it has to be read AFTER the second one.
Colleen: My favorite fantasy romance is Rhapsodic (the bargainer series) by Laura Thalassa. It’s got a Siren, a king Fae, a long lost love story. What more could a gal want? The book goes between Callie(the siren) and Des ( the fae king)when they first met, to ten years later, when Des needs Callie’s help. Women Soldiers in Des’s kingdom are leaving and coming back in comas and pregnant. he needs Callie’s help to find out what’s going on and how to wake them. There’s an evil lerking in the shadows and they need to find it before it finds them. I don’t want to spoil it, but it’s a must read!!!
About book #1:
Callypso Lillis is a siren with a very big problem, one that stretches up her arm and far into her past. For the last seven years she’s been collecting a bracelet of black beads up her wrist, magical IOUs for favors she’s received. Only death or repayment will fulfill the obligations. Only then will the beads disappear.
Everyone knows that if you need a favor, you go to the Bargainer to make it happen. He’s a man who can get you anything you want … at a price. And everyone knows that sooner or later he always collects.
But for one of his clients, he’s never asked for repayment. Not until now. When Callie finds the fae king of the night in her room, a grin on his lips and a twinkle in his eye, she knows things are about to change. At first it’s just a chaste kiss—a single bead’s worth—and a promise for more.
For the Bargainer, it’s more than just a matter of rekindling an old romance. Something is happening in the Otherworld. Fae warriors are going missing one by one. Only the women are returned, each in a glass casket, a child clutched to their breast. And then there are the whispers among the slaves, whispers of an evil that’s been awoken.
If the Bargainer has any hope to save his people, he’ll need the help of the siren he spurned long ago. Only, his foe has a taste for exotic creatures, and Callie just happens to be one.

Tessa: Strange Hymn… OMG. So good. I’m glad I jumped into it as soon as I did. All of you PNR fans who haven’t read the series, do! And those who read the first book, but not the second, read the second! NOW! I was so tired and yet I refused to fall asleep. I didn’t want to miss anything. I probably should have because man, I was tired, but NOPE. I needed to know what happened next. So, so good.

FANTASY ROMANCE SERIES FINALE!!
Tessa: Already finished Dark Harmony. If anyone has read the series, read this now! I don’t think I have many greats this month, but this was the perfect ending to the series.
Also, if you read it, the Unearthly series takes place in the same world, though YA. It does make me have a theory with one phrase said, but sadly, no guarantee I’m right.
