I haven’t read these yet, but they’ve come highly recommended by many, such as:
Kim for my “Illicit Bad Boys List“:
“Just saw your post about the top 13 must reads….you ABSOLUTELY have to put down Untouchable right after Sempre! Our book club is IN LOVE with Micah….OMG! If you liked Carmine from Sempre you’ll love Micah. PLEASE, please make this an exception and add it to your list!”
and so many others agree!
Nikki: 2 really great books are Untouchable and Unforgivable by Lindsay Delagair. Micah is one u can add to your Bad Boys list!! Of course he is the top Hit Man in the south! =] and he falls in love with his target!
Jennifer: I absolutely fell in love with Micah, he’s up there on my list of favorite bad boy heros! Loved Untouchable and Unforgivable, can’t wait til book three.
Lisa: Read the first one since you put it up and it’s so good, the ending rocks and can’t wait til morning to start on book 2 Thanks again for the recommendations
and my friend Christina loved ’em, too.. (with a few reservations 😉 ) but with all of this enthusiasm, I am convinced I need to get on these!:
Christina: Omg I read these a few weeks ago. … I loved them just because of all the absurdity. I just couldn’t wait to see what else this girl and guy do.
and then later when book #3 was announced she said: “I personally loved them BECAUSE of how ridiculous they are! Yay for #3!”
About book #1
Picking a boyfriend can be murder, but for Annalisa Winslett, it might end up being the literal death of her.
No one at Pensacola High School suspects the girl they know as Annalisa McKinnis to be a wealthy heiress in hiding, but things begin to unravel when two new guys enroll. Both guys are gorgeous, and both are trying to win her over. The only problem is that one of them has a million dollar contract to put a bullet in her.
When her pure and innocent heart is offered to him, will this cold and empty hitman fall, or will he remain untouchable?
This book is the beginning of a wild ride in a trilogy that will make you wonder if the power of love can truly conquer all. Book one builds the tension for the passion and erotic connection that blooms in book two (Unforgivable), and book three (Untraceable) brings you to the astonishing conclusion of the star-crossed lovers.
- Untouchable
- Unforgivable (Untouchable)
- Untraceable (Untouchable) – it’s out right now!!
I am about 60% through Untraceable and I had to stop reading because I was having an anxiety attack. I have not wanted to wring the neck of a character since Thoughtless/Effortless. This is Sempre on steroids. OMG…read this series. So. Good. You will love/ hate/love/want to shake Micah a thousand times over.
Dang it! I borrowed the first book through Amazon Prime and I just sent it back without reading it because of some of things I heard about it and decided I wanted to borrow a different book! 🙁 Plus, I could use a good angst filled book right now. I keep starting and stopping books. Not finding one to stick. Guess I should have read it! I’ll put it back on for next month. Or is it good enough to buy?
Sorry Maryse, I feel like some days I stalk your FB page and/or your blog…. 😉
Stalk it all you want, Jill!! You’re all welcome in my virtual reading room! I haven’t read ’em yet but these are high on my TBR list ’cause I’m getting way more enthusiastic reviews and encouragement about it then from those who didn’t like it as much. I hear it’s super far-fetched, but forgivably so, so I’m in.
Love this list, Maryse! I just got through pulling down samples of all of these (except Rehv’s book, which I’ve already read and loved)! I’d already picked up “Sempre” and will be starting on it once I finish the books I’m already reading!
Book 3 I thought started off slow but it sure picked up. Still love the series
Just finished book one and downloaded book #2. Micah and Ryan are hot, hot, hot bad boys. Definitely liked it! Can’t wait to start #2!
Am I the only one who found the religious aspects of the first book a bit off-putting? I read it based on this review and I really wasn’t prepared for that…
This is a Christian Teen Suspense Romance. I like some YA books, but this one was totaly unrealistic. I was so taken by the recommendation and the book cover, I bought all three books. Thank goodness I read the first one in time to return the last two. If you are looking for romance, you will have to read over 90% of the book before Annalisa and Micah even kiss. Annalisa is almost a religious zealot and very, very prudent. If I was a Christian zealot teen, I might give it 5 stars, but as it stands, I give it 2.5 stars. What can I say, I love Kellan, Dream Men, Christian, Travis….etc., and their stories better.
I was all about these books and then some ninnie posted a spoiler on amazon about book three and I haven’t been compelled to read it. Can someone tell me if Micah is still lovable in the last book??!!
Wow! I loved these my heart was stunned reading untraceable. I had to stop and breathe a bit before I could continue. Now I’m stuck for what to move on to next. I absolutely suggest you try these! Micah is OMG hot!!
Ok, so I couldn’t help it and pushed forward with book 3. Was it my favorite? No…but I’m glad I read it despite the hesitation.
I do love Micah…just not as much as Kellan and Christian. 🙂
Just finished this series 🙂 I loved it. I still love Travis, Kellan, and Christian as well.
I loved this series so much!! I highly recommend them!
OMG. On book three and obsessed!!!! I read well over 230
Books a year, but this series had my heart racing. He’s a bad boy hit man (alpha male… Oh yeah!!!) and she’s the sweet innocent thing that becomes his target. You’d think after book one it’s happily ever after. Well, your WRONG!! Series continues with twists, heartache, love, sex, more sexy bad boys, (*squeee*) that you just love. Heartbreaking times that your like WTF??? And a plot where your sitting on edge thinking, “if this author doesn’t write the next book soon enough I’m just gonna die!!!”
Three books out. All continuing and sooooo good. I love my paranormal, i love my adult books, and this started out youngish adultish (ya) but by book took the steamy starts? But it’s the plot, story, characters and twists that keep you wanting more. You love, hate and love again but quickly love again and then some more hate and love. Sooooo good I spent all this time writing a review when I could be reading the last few chapters but I was so I excited I had to tell Maryse!!! Love your reading lists, reviews and personality! Keep on even when it seems there’s nothing out there! Love you!!!!
