in Reading Order Guide:

<— If you wanna cry? THIS ONE!! And I can vouch for that! *oooooof!!! Big fat crybaby tears!!!! (Here’s my book review of “When it Rains“.

Amy: When It Rains by Lisa DeJong. I couldn’t breathe through my nose after that one.

Danielle: Holy mess this is the worst book hangover I’ve had in a long time! Not an overtly emotional person but the story of Kate and Asher had me ugly crying and fearing for the longevity of my kindle. Wow is the only thing I can keep saying. Well played Lisa De jong well played.

Leslie: OMG……..I should of been warned about this book before reading it at work, LOL…I didn’t read the review because I didn’t wont to spoil it, but OMG, talk about heart wrenching!!!!!

Lisa: I have read so many wonderful books this year but I would have to say my favorite is When It Rains by Lisa DeJong.  This book was devastating.

Dawn: My faves recently…When It Rains (ugly tears, beautiful story)…

Tammy: My favorite this year…would be…When It Rains by Lisa De Jong! She is AMAZING! Her style of writing was so heartfelt that you connected with the characters and were experiencing their pain like it was your own…so real that I was a sobbing mess. Def a 5 STAR read!!!  :)

About book #1:

One night changed my life forever.

Beau Bennett has been my best friend since I can remember. He was my first crush before everything came crashing down, and now he wants more, but it’s more than I can give him. Things are different now. I wish I could tell him why, but I can’t. I haven’t told anyone. I never knew how much I really needed him until the day he left for college, and I was completely alone.

Then one day, Asher Hunt rides into town with his dark, captivating eyes and cocky grin. He doesn’t care who I used to be, he’s simply breathing life into what’s left. People warn me to stay away from him, but he helps me forget the pain that has held me hostage for so long; something I thought was impossible before he walked into my life.

I’ve been hurt. I’ve been saved. And I’ve found hope. I thought my story was written that night, but now I know it was only a new beginning. Until one secret turns my world upside down…
