In honor of the latest book release by Maya Banks I thought I’d create the reading order guide, and find out when the next releases in the series will be. I hear it’s got that “Fifty” feel, so it’s right up our alley! It’s already going strong, having made the NYT Best Sellers list and our own fellow readers are already recommending it!
Ivannie: Just finished Rush by Maya Banks!! It was really good! (Something similar to fifty shades, but not so hardcore!)
Nikole: Hey guys! So yesterday I started and finished at 1am Rush by Maya Banks. I really enjoyed the book, there is a 50 Shades feel to it…but I think a little better in the fact that the heroine Mia isn’t SUPER naive and she has a backbone, she doesn’t just bend to his every whim. I would give the book a 4-4.5 stars.
Pamela: This book was incredible and it is hurting to wait for the next one…I want the story to pick up where this one left off…but hoping the other friends will share snipets of story that is going on…so good!!! it is a 5 star read!
Sarai: The Maya Banks Breathless series (Rush, Fever and Burn comes out 8/6) totally love!… Three wealthy best friends that have dominant personalities. Fell in love with them. I think you would enjoy 🙂
Kathy: Can’t wait to read Burn by Maya Banks which just came out today! !! If you haven’t read the first two books in the series, you definitely should!! They are a little pricey but worth the read for sure!! A nice guilty pleasure. 🙂

I just finished reading this book last week, and it was good! IMO it’s so much better than 50 which I DNF. Maya’s writing is stellar in comparison.

I read this book in a day. Really great read and I was so bummed because I did not realize book 2 was not out yet!! Ugh! So excited Maya will be at book bash in Orlando!

It’s not a cliff hanger. Book 2 picks up the story of other characters. There is a sneak peek of book 2 at the end of book 1 and it is good!!
Just finished “Rush” last night and really liked it a lot. Looking forward to book 2! Course, I like pretty much anything Maya Banks writes. Her Highlander historical novel series is wonderful too, and I’m not usually into historicals that much! And I love her KGI series.
I am definitely the odd man out on this book. I hated it. I didn’t feel there was any connection between the two main characters. She may as well have been a blow up doll for the way he treated her and her reactions to what he did to her. I actually was angry at the author while reading this because I have read many of her books and this was not even close to being her best and it could have been so good.
i’ve read this book and loved it! definitely steamy! STEAMY! lol i think this definitely belongs in your “what to read after 50 list” maryse. i’m excited for jace’s story!

I also read this book in a day!! Loved it! Can’t wait for the sequel!! It totally reminded me of Fifty Shades of Grey. **Spoiler*** I was hoping the sequel would have been a continuation of the same characters. After reading the little snippet to the second book I’m hooked and will be reading it anyway!!

I feel that Maya Banks writes a lot better than the author of Fifty Shades of grey. Her books hold my interest better.
