in Reading Order Guide:

<— Brother’s best friend book!!! I love these kinds of books. Just a touch forbidden, and with all of that “must not” comes a whole lotta angst. I haven’t read these but this series was brought to my attention when a reader question asked about this very subject (this book ended up being the answer), and I was so VERY intrigued with it:

Kandi: It was a girl that fell in love with her brothers (she had 2) best friend. Her brothers were very protective and didn’t want her dating their best friend. They started sneaking around…

Lea: Is it Trying Not To Love You by Megan Smith? They were all very close growing up and her two brothers do not want her with the best friend, though she has had a thing for him forever.

Rachelle: Trying not to Love you series

Mary Anne: Megan Smith’s Trying Not To Love You…I think

Maryse: Wow I think you guys might be right. It sounds good!!

Stephanie: Megan’s characters are great!

Jess: These books were amazing! Definitely ready for the next in the series!

P.S. Hey Tasha!! I think this one is a book that you are also looking for!! (Tasha told us just yesterday: “ ”Looking for a book were either the heroine falls for brothers best friend or best friends brother must be told from the heroines pov…”)

About book #1:

MacKenzie Cahill has dealt with overbearing and overprotective brothers her entire life, making it near impossible to enjoy her teenage years. Having a boyfriend was practically impossible until she met a guy that wasn’t afraid to stand up to them – Dominic. He was sweet, thoughtful, and everything MacKenzie ever wanted in a man.

But when they go away to college at Old Dominion University, MacKenzie sees a whole new side of Dominic and begins to wonder if he really is different from every other guy.

Her world is turned upside down after a party, and her brothers’ best friend Hunter is the one there to offer her a shoulder to cry on. The chemistry between them is electric, and feelings for each other that have been hidden for years are finally voiced.

Is Hunter willing to be disloyal to his best friends in order to be with the one girl he’s always secretly wanted?
