Another Meghan March alpha-male bully alert!! The trilogy is complete! And if you have questions regarding where to start (since this series is a spinoff), maybe this will help:
Nay: I want to read Deal with the Devil. I still haven’t read a Meghan March book because I don’t want to start with anything that’s a spin-off, yet it’s daunting to think about going all the way back to her original series. So from the reviews, this book sounds like it’s in a new ‘world’, but then one reviewer calls it a spin-off–UGH! I think I’ll start with the Mount Trilogy (unless someone tells me I should go back farther).
Theresa: Nay, Mount series was great read if you want lots of sex. It isn’t necessary to read this first but it sets up the fact tht Mount runs the city and there is references back to characters in her other books. Savage Prince, anti- heros, has references back, but that started with a big sex scene and turned people off of no plot. …They were wrong. It has a very developed plot involving Mount (previous series) and plot that twists until you can’t figure out who is guys and who is bad.
But it certainly had a big story line. I like to read in order cause I don’t like to “wonder” what had happened. Meghan March are quick reads btw.
Theresa: Nay – Deal With The Devil is NOT a spin off. Nothing in this book referred back to any other book. I have read almost every book she has wrote. I remember Forge being mentioned in a previous book. But to tell you the truth that is all it was. A name drop. In this book it isn’t in New Orleans and no other charaters from previous books was in it. So read on. Warning – lots of dirty talk.
About book #1:
“You can put that man in a suit, but he’ll never be tame.”
One look at Jericho Forge and I knew the rumors were true. He was a predator, and he had set his sights on me.
I knew better than to bet more than I could afford to lose that night. I knew better than to bet myself. But desperation leads to bad decisions, and I thought there was no way I could lose.I was wrong.
Now I have no choice but to make a deal with the devil.
