Julie highly recommends this one!

“Have you all read Melanie Nowaks vampire series? It’s so good! I read it awhile back, it’s called the Almost Human series and there’s 2 parts but I think there are 5 Bks out so far. I loved it! At first I didn’t know if I’d get into it but I did and ended up loving it! I hope some of you do, you will love Cain!!

Melissa: I just got Descenants of Darkness! I have missed Cain. Excited to see what happens with Felicity/Ben/Cain??

As per the author:

In this paranormal fantasy, chapters alternate perspective between a vampire and a young woman, as they join an ensemble cast of characters to navigate difficulties of addiction and desire; perils of zombies and vampires; and struggles with abuse, morality and… college.

Thanks again, Melanie for replying to my readers :) Haha that description made me laugh…and “college” – something we can relate too, despite all the paranormal activity ;)

Sounds great!

I have to say that this has been a great series so far. It is along they same line as the ‘Morganville Vamps’ but seems to be a tad bit more on the mature side. Can’t wait for the next book!
