Melanie Walker – TAT: A Rocker Romance Series Reading Order

in Reading Order Guide:

Brand spankin’ new release in this series and I’m hearing a ton all of the sudden. Comments of crying, comparisons to some of my all-time favorite angsty books, and questions on what’s coming next in the series. Just look at these comments! I had to do some research… (and I found out the goods!!!! :D )

Stephanie: Despite the poor editing, I liked Book #1, Trust Me. But in my opinion, Forgive Me (Book #2) was even better! Forgive Me (Book #2) was emotional, painful, and even dark at times. I even cried! I highly recommend…

Paulette:  I totally agree, not your typical rocker book!

Stephanie: it’s definitely not a typical rocker book. It doesn’t focus on the band out on the road or the glam life of a rock star (like some rocker books do). These books focus more on the relationship between the H/h and the interconnection that they have with their friends, band mates, family, etc. I think each book gets more gritty and intense! The way that Book #2 ended made me want to rip into the next book. I can’t wait until the third book is released!!!

Lori: I really liked the first one Stephanie, excited for more!!

Jenny:  I agree Stephanie, I just finished it & loved it!!

Patty: OMG… I JUST READ TRUST ME AND FORGIVE ME (TAT :Rocker romance) by melanie walker……Omg.. I have cried before with books, but this duet I did the ugly cry, I’m hoping there will be a 3rd book.  This is up there with  beautiful disaster, hopeless, the mighty storm… these books gutted me.  LOVE, ANGST, SORROW,LOSE, REFOUND LOVE, BROKEN PROMISES…. it is a buffet of every love story out there… please tell me you will read them and post reviews I need to talk to someone about them.  Melanie walker doesn’t seem to have a website so I don’t know if there will be another book, but it is so set up that it can happen.  Is there a way to find out.?

Michelle: This book was so emotional to read but amazing as well. Very well written. Highly recommend

Johanna: I finished the first one last night and really liked it. Went right in to the second one.

About book #1:

Carrie Beckett knew fear. Pain, Anger, Terror…she also knew Trust. After escaping a fate that is worse than death Carrie and Noah settle in Gig Harbor with the taste of freedom on the tip of their tongues. Years of abuse so severe, left them both wounded, careful but stronger than life gave them credit for. They knew to trust one another above all things, promising then and there they would never look back…

The summer before her final year at UW Carrie agrees to a date with her long time crush who happens to be her brother Noah’s best friend Chad Blake. The tattooed and sexy as sin front-man for rock band Thick as Thieves and the crowned King of Gig Harbor’s bad boys, Chad is a known for a good time, great music, killer tats and a sweet goodbye the morning after… as long as the girl knows the score. Everything he is, is everything Noah wants her far away from.

Chad has wanted his best friends sister since she was eighteen but stayed away after Noah warned him that Carrie was off limits. Having been burned in the past, Chad focused on his day job as a tattoo artist and his dream of making it big with his band Thick as Thieves; keeping his bed warm until he had the chance to get Carrie Beckett there and never let her leave.

Noah sheltered Carrie as best he could, keeping her as far from his personal life and Chad Blake as he could. He wanted nothing but happiness and freedom for the sister he watched suffer day in and day out.
But Carrie is innocent and smart, strong willed with a sassy mouth, all the things Chad loves about her and refuses to deny himself of anymore.

Risking it all on a whim, he shows up and asks Carrie to go “All In” and betray her brother for a chance to be together.
Carrie is brought into the world of parties, concerts, fangirls and sex- that force her to face the memories of her past in order to move on with Chad as her future.

Knowing that love is a reward, trust, a gift, Carrie and Chad fall with a passion so strong, it threatens to break them both. They will battle back all the bad things in life for just a second of good and all the insecurities will come to an explosive head that may just destroy them both

You won’t regret it !! when I got at about 75% to the end of book 2 I actually had to leave the room, I didn’t want my husband rolling his eyes or making a stupid comment because I was doing the “ugly cry” to a book. I did that a couple of times with these books. I look forward to your review and others comments.

Had to laugh @ your comment Patty R. I have a hubby AND 3 sons & I can clear a room FAST with a good book induced ugly cry. The utter horror on their faces is priceless.

I was wondering if you could post a list of all the songs you took lyrics from and used in your book? i loved the lyrics and they fit the situations perfectly, so i was hoping to find the actual songs they belong to. If you could post it that would be awesome! Thank you!
