Meredith Wild – Hacker Series Reading Order

in Reading Order Guide:

Okay so THIS one? I’ve been “seeing it around” with each new release, and it always seems to be in my Amazon book stream. So when book #4 just came out and I saw it shoot to #10 in all of Kindle books, in one day, and then I saw the HUGE amount of 5-star reviews (84 5-star reviews already) with nary a lower rating (only two 4 stars and no lower!), I thought to myself… “Self… I MUST READ THESE!!! I think I’m missing out!” So I backtracked, and I noticed that each book is loaded in awesome reviews.

And then… I found this recommendation by Tracey:

Tracey: I just read hardwired and hardpressed (part of the hacker series)! Great story with many fifty like steamy moments.   By Meredith Wild. Great read…

And then more recommendations!

Anita: It’s really gooooood! I haven’t started book 4 yet! Can’t wait for book 5 to finish the series. Worth the read definitely!

Becky: I read the Hardwired series quite awhile ago and I recall loving it. I have not read book 4 yet but it is on my wish/to-be-read list.

Lisa: AWESOME series!!! I loved it.

Amy: It’s a great series!!!

Melody: Loved this series! Got #4 but haven’t started it yet!

Yep. Sounds perfect for me. Has anyone else read ‘em?

About book #1:

Determined to overcome a difficult past, Erica Hathaway learns early on to make it on her own. Days after her college graduation, she finds herself face to face with a panel of investors who will make or break her fledgling startup. The only thing she didn’t prepare for was going weak in the knees over an arrogant and gorgeous investor who seems determined to derail her presentation.

Billionaire and rumored hacker Blake Landon has already made his fortune in software, and he’s used to getting what he wants. Captivated by Erica’s drive and unassuming beauty, he’s wanted nothing more than to possess her since she stepped into his boardroom. Determined to win her over, he breaks down her defenses and fights for her trust, even if it means sacrificing a level of control he’s grown accustomed to.

But when Blake uncovers a dark secret from Erica’s past, he threatens not just her trust, but the life she’s fought so hard to create.

Read Hardwired a while ago and really liked it. I Have wanted to read the rest of the series, but was waiting to see if the price might drop.

Hate to say – I think I’m totally over the billionaire meets girl “thingy” – maybe someday it will appeal to me again? Who knows….

Is there a catch? an angle? something new and different? unexpected? I will wait for your review, Maryse…. you have saved me lots of download time because you are spot on with my tastes!

I’m so glad that you posted this. It has been on my radar and I was going to ask if anyone has read it. The reviews are all saying it is so awesome.

Okay let me get some of the feedback from those on my Facebook page…

Okay I just added the extra feedback from our Facebook crew, and I think I’m going to try these next. :D

I’ll let you know soon, Michelle. ;)

I’ve been interested too but leery due to price. Waaayy back, the first book was only .99 cent – (maybe even free for awhile), wishing I would have picked it up then. I’ll be glad to see what you think, Maryse. :)

These have been on my TBR for a while as a friend of mine recommended them and I just checked Amazon , the first book is only for $1.54 and that is good price as these books are a bit pricy.

Tammy December 11, 2014 at 9:01 AM

The first book is $1.54? Mine says $6.99. :(

Hi Maryse, I read “On the Island,” and I love it so much. Have you read it?

Shell December 11, 2014 at 10:06 AM

Tammy I just bought the first book which was $1.54 today but I live in UK, so may be its on sale price here. It happens you know as I can’t tell you how many books go on sale but I can’t get them on that price as they are not on sale for UK residents.

I loved books 1 and 2 but when I started book 3 it felt like a filler with a cliffhanger…later I learned there will be books 4 and 5 and the series is no longer a trilogy….remind you of another series??? Anyway, someday I plan on reading book 3 in it’s entirety but maybe when book 5 is out and the price drops.

I’m reading Hard Limit (book 4) now and it’s very good. I really loved the first 3 books in the series, sort of has a FSOG/Crossfire feel to it but there’s plenty that makes it it’s own series. Love Blake in this series, he’s awesome (even if he’s making me furious!).

I think the 5th and final book is due out Spring 2015.

Excited to see what you think, Maryse, if you read these!
