<— ONE OF OUR SLOW-BURN infuriating favorites!!!! 😉 If you love the infuriating alpha-males of Kristen Ashley or Mariana Zapata, you’ll love this! This one made my best of 2017 list, and I want more! And our fellow book lovers agree!
Carla: Have you already read Wrecking Ball and Sledgehammer by P. Dangelico?! If you had’t, I think you’d like it. My God the slow burn and the buit up of those books are just amazing. Actually Wrecking Ball kind of reminded me of The Wall of Winnipeg and Me by Mariana Zapata. I love it! Couldn’t put them down for a minute!
Jen: I loved Wrecking Ball by P.Dangelico. Alpha male at its best! It had a KA feel to me!
Jan: Wrecking Ball by P. Dangelico. Lovely slow-burn romance.
Ashley: Favorite book so far…. oh boy. I loved Wrecking Ball by P. Dangelico.
Maria: Just downloaded book two! I loved book one!!!!
Renee: I loved book 2 even more!
About book #1:
Cam DeSantis’ life is a mess. How else would you describe losing your husband, your job, and your money all at once? Desperate times call for desperate measures.
So when salvation comes in the form of one intolerable jerk, who just happens to be the starting quarterback for the vaunted New York Titans, she has no choice but to accept his offer as a live-in nanny slash teacher for his eight year old nephew.
Now all she has to do is find a way to ignore him for the next three months. Which is harder said than done.

Calvin Shaw has zero interest in women. Wait, wait––let me rephrase that. He loves women, he just doesn’t want anything to do with ‘um.What he needs to do is focus on winning another Super Bowl before he retires. Problem is, the woman living in his house is a major distraction.
And he doesn’t know what’s worse, that he promised to be civil, or that he’s attracted to her.
- Wrecking Ball (Hard To Love Book 1) <— P.S.: Here’s my review.
- Sledgehammer (Hard To Love Book 2)
- Bulldozer (Hard To Love Book 3)
- Steamroller (Hard To Love #4) – release date TBA expected 2019
I won an autographed paperback from Ms. D’Angelico of Wrecking Ball…but I’m almost too afraid to read if, because I don’t want to bend the spines!!
Grey, I know what you mean. I won my Waiting for the Sun and I have it on display all pretty in my living room. I pictured it to have all those flags sticking out (like Maryse’s books) but I don’t want to tarnish my precious.
So the question is, are paper books ACTUALLY meant for reading?!?!?
