Theresa just told me that book #3 in THIS series is now up for pre-order (it’s coming out in just a couple of weeks) and I absolutely LOVED LOVED LOVED book #1!!! ➜ Here’s my review of “Crazy Good“. Bad-ass, bad-boy military heroes yet the romance is very realistic and angsty and more relatable to me, because we follow the “military wives and girlfriends” that await their men…
Theresa: Ladies if you are not caught up, move it! The last in Set In Stone ripped. me up, like my military and ex- military. These are Seals. Just got goose bumps thinks thinking about them.
Allison: I just emerged from a weekend long book fog from Crazy Good by Rachel Robinson. TOTALLY NOT what I was expecting. It’s about a Navy Seal and I was expecting something like a light, frivolous read – sort of like those stepbrother romances I see now and then. (Ahem, and occasionally read when they are free and I am looking for something light. But I will never admit that publicly. Oh. Wait . . .) Anyway, this book. Ugh, this book. I felt every. single. emotion. I was so swept up in their love and the way the H pursued the h. She was so unexpected to him and he was not what she was looking for. Their love and their emotions and the slow burn . . . . it was very emotional. But also very funny. They are so playful and the way the H jokes with his friends, especially his best friend, was hilarious! And then he gets deployed. And tragedy happens. Bawling. I just wrapped myself in a big sweater and held myself to try to make it all better. I just absolutely loved it.
Pia: Allison, book 2 – Set in Stone by Rachel Robinson is a must read as well
Theresa: Allison, read the next Set In Stone. just when you think you got it together, the end gets you again.
Maryse: Oh I LOVE the sound of that Theresa!!! 😀
Jean: I loved Crazy Good too!
Niki: remember Crazy Good by Rachel Robinson…. it was really crazy good 🙂
Linda: Stayed up until 4:00am this morning finishing Crazy Good! I was so totally lost in it had no idea of time!! Love those kind of stories!!
Carol: Where have I been. No idea there was another one. I’m on it. Crazy good was one of my all-time favorites
About book #1:
Before there were bikers, or fighters, or even good old-fashioned jerks, there were Navy SEALs. They put the bad in badass because, well…it’s their job.
Navy SEAL Maverick Hart has everything. Women want him. Grown men idolize him. Little boys want to grow up and be like him. The job, the glory—it’s all his. Not because it’s handed to him…because he works hard for it. The second his sights lock on something, he owns it—or destroys it. Unfortunately he does both at the same time.
Windsor Forbes only takes calculated risks in her profession and in her personal life. After being left at the altar by the only person she’s ever loved, the very last thing she’s looking for is a relationship—especially the insane brand an arrogant Navy SEAL is offering. Hesitant, yet trusting to a fault, she gives in.
She knew she shouldn’t take the chance, especially a second time, but love is irrational and their love is perfect, infallible. Or so she thought…
The downfall to having everything is you have that much more to lose. A man like Maverick can’t have it all without something slipping out of grasp.
Crazy people perish for love.
Good people live for it.
Love doesn’t die. No matter how many bullets you put in it.
