in Reading Order Guide:

<— DOCTOR ROMANCE ALERT!! Alpha males and OH NO HE DIDN’T moments!! Made some cry, too! And guess what? Book #3 was just released and this series has rocked worlds!! Plus! Fun tidbit: Did you know that Riley MacKenzie are TWO people? YES!!

Anna: I LOVED the Beautifully Awake series! Got connected quick, and didn’t want to stop reading once I started.

Linh: I am reading Beautifully Awake from the list of reader’s recommendation and I am LOVING it so far. I was in such a book slump but Chase Colton’s Alpha-ness is bringing me out of it.

Beth: I also wanted to recommend a book called Beautifully Awake by Riley Mackenzie. It was awesome! Pure alpha male hero ;). Also, it was different because it’s set in a hospital. I wasn’t sure if I’d like that, but it blew me away. Up ALL NIGHT!!!

Jill: I FREAKING LOVED IT! Definitely check it out! Totally different- doctor romance!

Robin: Beautifully Awake by Riley Mackenzie. Chase Colton has more than his share of OH NO HE DIDN’T moments! Takes the classic tormented alpha to a new level! Lol!

Jillian: Beautifully Done made me cry for the first time in a while. It was a fantastic story and I liked it even better than Beautifully Awake! Fantastic!!

Renee: Beautifully Awake and Beautifully Done are awesome, LOVED them!!

Anita: Both of those books are soooooooo good! I haven’t been able to stop thinking about Chase and Asher! Hot steamy reads with amazing characters and storylines!

Anna: I just read Beautifully Awake and Beautifully Done and loved them both a lot! Beautifully Done gave me a surprise punch to the feelings that brought on my first book tears in a while. Also, both books contain completely sexy guys, and wonderful women. Good stuff.

Cheryl: …started Abruption last night, …The h is a feisty nurse-and it involves a special needs child- both of which I can relate to and loving the story so far. … I *think* each book is about 2 different main characters and their stories, but their stories are interrelated. (if that makes sense). Also, book 1 has the H from Abruption prior to what happened in that book. Also set in the medical environment.  :)

Robin: Hello 2016! Stayed up all night reading Abruption. That cover sucked me in (maybe because it’s freaking everywhere right now) and it did not disappoint. Finally, my book slump is over! On to the next …

About book #1:

Diagnosis: Sleep-running

Treatment: Truth

Prognosis: Beautifully Awake

Lili Porter hates the rain. Bad things happen in the rain. As a small town social worker dedicated to protecting children, she is forced to start over to escape her rural disaster. Determined to follow her father’s advice—head up and chin high—Lili finds herself in a new city, taking on a new system, this time healthcare. In doing so, she gets something she never expected, an intimate behind-the-scenes look at life in the hospital.

Lili learns that a surgeon’s hands have the power to heal more than physical wounds. And a prescription for truth can cure three years of sleep running and leave you beautifully awake.

The cover of Abruption caught my attention and after I finished it I realized the authors have 2 previous books. Just finishing book 2 now. Enjoyed the medical aspect.
