S.J. Day – Marked Series Reading Order

in Reading Order Guide:

Ooooh the premise for this one looks good! Humans AND paranormals, and that poor girl. See what being attracted to bad boys gets you? Then again… if he is going to be a recurring character in the series… hrmmm… I think this might be fun!

About the series (the author is Sylvia Day):

Cursed by God, hunted by demons, desired by Cain and Abel… All in a day’s work.

For Evangeline Hollis, a long-ago fling with a bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks just became a disaster of biblical proportions. One night with a leather-clad man of mystery has led to a divine punishment: the Mark of Cain.

About the future of the series (as per the author’s FAQ):

“Will there be more Marked series books?
God, I hope so! I love those books. However, I’m no longer working with Tor Books and my other publishers want me to focus on the stories and series we’ve already developed together. I will, however, utilize every opportunity to write novellas or short stories in the Marked world in the interim. Sign up for my newsletter to stay in-the-know. “

I just finished reading 1 through 3 in this series and it has been a VERY long time since a book universe has sucked me that completely. The last book in particular made me SQUEE as well as grimace, and kept me guessing the whole way through. When I was done, it was like regrettably stepping off a roller coaster.
Marked is a smart, kickass, and sexy series. I would without a doubt enjoy reading another full-length book about Eve, Cain, and Abel. :D

I loved these books but feel a little let down not knowing what happens next. At the end of chaos I have worked out that its reed waiting for her, but its also mentioned in another book. Also at the end of the novella I am so frustrated not knowing if eve and Cain ****. I hope you do more in the guardian series so many in answered things between those wonderful 4 charachter. I love all of your books and am eagerly awaiting the final of the crossfire series

I love the books but was pretty frustrated by the end of the 3rd one I don’t like how Eve plays the boys and can’t decide who she wants to be with and couldn’t figure out who was there with her at the end. why would you leave us hanging like that?
