I’m still just in the first quarter but everything about it is making me read with a silly grin on my face. Just ask my husband. I’m looking pretty goofy right now. I picked it up ’cause I heard it has that Beautiful Disaster feel (which we all know is alright by me)! 😉
Joanna: Someone recommended Damaged and the Beast, so I grabbed it yesterday. I don’t know what it was about this book, but I read it in one afternoon and enjoyed it SO MUCH. I can’t pin down why, but honestly, I felt like I felt when I read Beautiful Disaster. I haven’t tried to analyze this or consider the writing, I just enjoyed every minute of it. Wanted to share!!!!

Ashley: I think it was Joanna Wylde who recommended Damaged and the Beast and mentioned a BD feel. IT TOTALLY IS! I’m about 40% in and really, really enjoying it. I thumbed through a few books after our beloved Thief, and this one is great! I can’t seem to stop, well I had to, but once bedtime comes, reading will commence!
Good writing style, a few funny moments but the best part? It has the tattooed bad boy SUPER alpha biker bad-ass that freaks everyone out and even kinda scares the girl.
So… why’s this one so special? I mean, after all, there’re lots of those right now, right? Right! But well, I dunno. Maybe I’m just totally in the mood for this. Or maybe there’s just something in the writing… Joanna said it exactly. There’s something about this particular bad ass that’s already making me swoon. He’s a foul-mouthed arrogant, possessive and determined ass and I totally believe him! And already love him for it.
*shakes head* Yep. Something’s wrong with me. 😉
I’ll continue reading and let y’all know soon. But so far, soooooo good and it took me everything to put it down just to let y’all know.

I’m reading it right now too. Wasn’t sure what to expect because of all the mixed reviews but really like it so far!
Yeah I heard about that mixed reviews issue, but I’m avoiding the reviews for now. Joanna and Ashley’s reactions were good enough for me, and right from the start I was liking it, too.
Had to share that the cover looked familiar and sure enough I downloaded it back in April….love it when I discover I already bought a book and don’t need to get it:).

So far i’m at 80% and still loving it. There are some super-intense heartache scenes that totally reminded me of my beloved Travis.
I would have finished it in one sitting but for the stupid fact that I conked out at like 3am…
You might as well as get the full book hangover and read the sequel, Beauty and the Knight about her sister. I liked it but it does have mixed reviews.
Just finished and immediately started the second-Damaged and the Knight. I loved this book. What a crazy entertaining read. I almost died laughing reading the scene where Farah meets Cooper’s family for the first time.
