Seduction and Snacks (Chocolate Lovers)
This one has been all the rage over the last couple of weeks with my fellow readers. Every once in awhile there is that one book out there that EVERYONE seems to love, no matter what their usual reading preference is, and this is one of ’em! In fact, I just received an email from Janet this morning recommending it (yet again)!
I just had to write and tell you about this hilarious book I’m reading (at 35%), you may have already heard about it but if not you really should add it to the top of your TBR list. It’s called Seductions and Snacks by Tara Sivec. It is got to be the single funniest book I have EVER read. It’s also a love story but this author does an incredible job with the story telling. I HIGHLY recommend this book.
I’m right there with you Janet!! And pretty much at the same spot, too! Sweet, witty, funny, hilarious, it would appear this one is just flat-out awesome, and I started it last night as my final “birthday” treat of the day. What better way to end off an amazingly fun day, but with an uplifting romantic comedy? It was the icing on my “virtual” birthday cake. And by about 15% in I realized my cheeks were hurting from the silly grin that I was unconsciously wearing. And then I started chuckling out loud. Non stop. Yep! I’ve joined y’all in this fun read, and I already get what you’re raving about. This one will hook you right from the start.

Tracy: Maryse…others have mentioned this book, but I read Seduction and Snacks yesterday and you MUST read it ASAP…it is the funniest book I have ever read..not only that, it is sweet, romantic and steamy! My husband actually made me read parts to him so he would know why I was laughing hysterically (and actually snorting in certain parts)…one of my favs this year so far!

Well this weekend I read a totally fabulous book that had me laughing my butt off the whole time I was reading it. It’s called Seduction and Snacks by Tara Sivec. It’s awesome and funny and sweet, and I think I even teared up once.
Maxima: I just have to tell you about a book I just read, it’s called Seduction and snacks by Tara Sivec. It is the funniest book I have ever read, it would be great if you can also read it, just try not to do it a 3:00 am I actually woke my husband up when I couldn’t stop laughing and tears were coming down my face, he actually sent me to the living room! I loved it! I hope it makes your TBR list.
Convinced yet? I don’t even need to tell you what it’s about. I’ll save that for the official review. I went in not having a clue (nada) ’cause I knew I could trust that I’d be laughing too. And can you believe my luck? It was EXACTLY what I was expecting. It’s terrific having so many reading friends with the exact same tastes as me. After the extreme “MARYSE READ THIS!!!” response, I just knew I could go in blindly and be one with it. Like I always say… we have such great book taste!!!

I started this book thinking that my expectations would be too high-that it wouldn’t be as funny as I thought because too many people have now built it up. But, it exceeded my expectations! Really loving it!!

Just downloaded for my weekend pleasure – well that and it is supposed to rain all weekend.
I started this one yesterday (about 75% now) and my husband kicked me out of bed last night because I was laughing so hard. When I tried to read him a passage, he didn’t find it as hilarious as I did, but what does he know? He’s such a crabby-daddy 🙂

I promised myself- no more books this month, but I’m in need of a laugh so I bought this. On page 4 and already laughing too loud for public transportation- anyone who quotes so I married an axe murderer is a legend!
Oh YES!! I read a bunch of parts to my husband too, and he was all… *raised eyebrow*
I think if we didn’t irritate them so much with our incessant giggling, they might be more open to the comedy parts that we try to read them.
I kept saying, it’s hilarious, you just gotta read the whole part to get it…
Ah well. At least we’re having fun, right guys?

Omg. I think this was the funniest book I have EVER read. And I half cried through most of it, it was so sweet! I have been semi-stalking your blog for a year now and I’m feeling guilty for just sweeping up all your recommendations all this time…thank you thank you thank you Maryse for feeding my book addiction!
